I had a wonderful day at Lyme Regis including seeing the biggest fossil I have ever seen on a beach. It was about as long as from my finger tip to my elbow. Sadly I had to decide that it was too big to carry back up the hill to the car. This painting is near to where I saw the fossil as the clouds swirled around the sun as if being hypnotised.
