I have always dreamed of a studio in an an old mill and so when the opportunity came up just by chance to move into the Twisting Gallery in Sunny Bank Mills, Farsley, I didn’t hesitate! I move in this weekend and am SO EXCITED. It will be a rather busy weekend of moving plan file chests and paintings and art materials but it will all be worth it. I will be OPEN for the first time on their HERITAGE AND OPEN STUDIO WEEKEND which is the 14th and 15th of September. There will be special tours of the mill as well as the other artists studios in the Spinning Mill being open. There is lots to do between now and then but I feel that it is a new chapter and a really inspiring one as Sunny Bank Mill is a wonderful creative amalgam of lots of different businesses. They have a coupled of great cafe’s and there is the wonderful Gallery with homemade cake too, so really there is absolutely nothing not to like ! So come and see me on the Open Weekend and see the view of the newly started redevelopment as i have a great view from my studio ! I’ll post more details in the events section later today xx
