Yes I know it’s hard to believe but I have been doing this for thirty years this month. I think that calls for an OMG!
I can still remember so vividly getting my grant from the Princes Trust and painting in my little bedsit in Headingley and travelling each week to various fairs and markets. Many of you that I met back then I still know now and continue to be not just customers but good friends. Polly is doing great and is in her first term at Edinburgh College of Art, which is just the best news that we could have hoped for. We go back to the hospital every three months for check ups, and so far everything is okay and long may that be the case.
Being an artist is still as challenging as ever, as there is still so much to learn and explore, but probably that is one of the reasons I love it, as every day is different and there is absolutely no time or room for being bored!
So I hope you can make one of the shows and very much look forward to seeing you in the North or the South!
